MA Book Arts. Camberwell.
Esther has been learning lots about books, and trying to find time
to make her own as well! For her MA show she is attempting to make
moving patterns, and flick books –
it’s all very time-consuming and meticulous,
but early results are promising, so we will keep you updated…You can
see one of Esther’s books in the Drawn to Poole Exhibition right now
at Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts.

Write Now and Then. Islington.
Esther worked on one photography and two film projects for All Change between
August 2007 and February 2008. interim then went on to create a digital book
including hand drawn animations designed to link the seven projects together
- all inspired from old and new maps of Islington, and a journey taken with
the participants and a sheep through London!

Snapshot. Islington.
This Summer Esther worked with young people from Islington on a photography
project for All Change. The participants created portraiture, architectural
and documentary photographs to represent a snapshot of their lives. The
resulting work was exhibited in August at Candid Arts in Angel. Snapshot
continues in Hackney in 2009.
